The following are our Terms and Conditions:

Confidentiality and Electronic Communications
If you use this site, you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and password and for restricting access to your computer, and you agree to accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account or password. Hitech Mobiles & More reserves the right to refuse service, terminate accounts, remove or edit content, or cancel orders in their sole discretion.
 
When you visit Hitech Mobiles & More or send e-mails to us, you are communicating with us electronically. You consent to receive communications from us electronically. We will communicate with you by e-mail or by posting notices on this site. You agree that all agreements, notices, disclosures and other communications that we provide to you electronically satisfy any legal requirement that such communications be in writing.

We use the information you provide about yourself when placing an order only to complete that order. We do not share this information with outside parties except to the extent necessary to complete that order.

To prevent unauthorized access, maintain data accuracy, and ensure the correct use of information, we have put in place appropriate physical, electronic, and managerial procedures to safeguard and secure the information we collect online.
 
Warranty
All our products carry a 12 Months manufacturer warranty excluding the parts for repair and accessories listed below. Consumable parts and accessories including Batteries, Chargers, Headsets, cables, memory cards etc. and all repair parts carry a 2 months warranty. Please retain your Tax Invoice as proof of purchase as this will be required for MANUFACTURER warranty purposes. Return postage of faulty items is the responsibility of the Buyer – no exceptions(RTB Warranty). Returned items found to be faulty due to physical or liquid damage will not be replaced/repaired and will incur a $20.00 processing fee. The warranty will be applied on the manufacturer defect only, not for user's misusage. Courier charges are non refundable in any case.
 
Delivery
We endeavor to dispatch packages for stock items as soon as referenced payments are cleared. If the item is not in stock, there can be a wait of 5-10 working days. We send our packages via track and trace postage and inform customers of the track and trace number via email or our online order status.

Layby Option
Layby options are available through our store. If you wish to place an item on lay by, you must contact at our store in Henderson.
Layby items are held for 6 weeks from the date of purchase. The minimum deposit is 20% and the final payment must be made within 6 weeks. If final payment is not completed within the 6 weeks, the item will be returned to stock, the buyer being refunded as per our layby cancellation.
Lay by Cancellation: In the case of a layby cancellation, a $40 administrations fee plus the loss of value of the items on the purchase order will be deducted from the paid amount. Any remaining balance will be refunded to the customer.
 
Descriptions, Pricing, and Purchases
The currency used in Hitech Mobiles & More website is New Zealand Dollar.
Hitech Mobiles & More attempts to be as accurate as possible. However, Hitech Mobiles & More does not warrant that product descriptions or other content of this site is accurate, complete, reliable, current, or error-free. If a product offered by Hitech Mobiles & More is not as described, your sole remedy is to return it in unused condition. 
 
Despite our best efforts, a small number of the items in our catalog may be mispriced. If we discover a mispricing, we will do one of the following:
 
1. If an item's correct price is lower than our stated price, we will charge the lower amount and ship you the item.
2. If an item's correct price is higher than our stated price, we will, at our discretion, either contact you for instructions before shipping or cancel your order and notify you of such cancellation.
***Our prices from this website can differ from the prices at the store, as the prices may changes almost simultaneously without any notifications.
Payments are charged at the time you place your order.
All items purchased from Hitech Mobiles & More are made pursuant to a shipment contract. This means that the risk of loss and title for such items pass to you upon our delivery to the carrier.
 
We are not responsible or liable for any tax that may occur during transfer to countries outside New Zealand.
 
Return and Refund Policy
Choose carefully as we do not refund if you change your mind. If the goods are faulty we will meet our obligations under the consumer guarantees act. All courier charges are non refundable in any case. Return to base Warranty only.

Warranty & Repair:
Our warranty is return to base; all faulty products should be returned to our stores with a copy of your original receipt. Your receipt lists a serial number of your product and it's your only proof of purchase. Faulty units will be logged in and you will be provided with a job number. Faulty units will be sent to an independent service agent for assessment. All items will be repaired if possible, if a repair is not possible we will arrange for a replacement unit of similar specifications, and the warranty will carry on from the initial date of purchase. The assessment and repair process can take 7-15 working days. Some delays may occur if there is a shortage of parts.
 
Assessment Bond
All service items are subject to a $20 deposit payable at the time of booking the item in.
The Assessment Bond is refundable if
The device is within the warranty period.
The device fault is covered under warranty.
The Assessment Bond will NOT be refunded if
There was no fault found.
The fault is not covered under warranty.
The device is outside the warranty period.
The Warranty applies if
The device and its accessories are handled properly for the intended use, in accordance with the operating instructions.
The device has failed due to faulty parts within the warranty period.
The Warranty may not apply and the device may not be repairable if
There is Liquid/Moisture damage.
Damage caused by unreasonable use, including but not limited to impact damage, power surge, misuse or neglect.
There is evidence of repair or tampering by an un-authorized person.
The fault is caused by use of non-original accessories.
The device has been damaged during rough handling, exposure to harsh environments (including extreme temperatures, leaving in direct sunlight, excessive dust or signs of physical damage).
The fault is caused by corrupted Software (Due to full memory, installation of third party software/applications or bootloader unlocking or otherwise).
Warranty on repiars are covered for same fault or part replaced. It does not cover any other issue.
The fault occurs outside the warranty period.
The fault is normal wear and tear of the device.
 
What is liquid damage?
Liquid damage refers to any signs of corrosion that may be present in the device on a printed circuit board, component or user interface. In some cases, the liquid damage may not be visible to the naked eye but can be detected with the use of a professional microscope. Liquid damage causes "Latent damage" to the circuitry. This means that although the device may appear to be operational, there is internal degradation to the circuitry which may result in a failure.
Possible causes of liquid damage may include but not limited to
Rain.
Immersion in liquid.
Abnormal perspiration.
Exposure to steam.
Excessive humidity.
Condensation (When moving from a cool or air-conditioned environment into a warmer, humid environment).
 
Data Loss warning for Electronic device repairs
Electronic devices may lose some or all the user software settings and data in the process of assessment, diagnosis and repair and these might not be recoverable. It is your responsibility to back up data prior to booking in the device for assessment.
Hitech Mobiles and the repair agents take no responsibility for loss of data stored should it occur during assessment and/or repair or for any other consequential personal or business loss including but not limited to goodwill, wasted expenditure.
 
Unclaimed Repairs
All products not picked up within 50 days of being advised, will become the property of the repairer. This could be disposed of, used for spare parts or sold to recover repair costs.

 

Terms for repair Service

  • Our service warranty only applies when the manufacturer's replacement part fails, within 60 days from the date of repair.

  • Equipment found to be liquid or physically damaged, at discretion of the repairer, may be excluded from warranty.

  • The warranty does not cover failure or defects caused by misuse, accidents, physical damage, improper handling or storage, modification, neglect, alternation, removal/repair of parts, exposure of fire, water, food, liquid and failure to follow instructions of proper device usage.

  • We do not have to provide refund for repaired jobs done unless three attempts have been carried out to repair the specific fault. We will meet our obligation under the Fair Trading Act and Consumer Guarantees Act to provide a remedy or provide refund for the cost of repair. Please note that the inspection fee is not refundable under any circumstances once it has been conducted.
